Hello, my name is Gianna Williams. I am currently a third year student studying Computer Science with minors in Sociology and Entrepreneurship at American University in Washington, D.C . My interests include ethical AI, computational social science, computational sustainability, human-centered computing, and a better accessible user experience for marginalized groups. I am also a Frederick Douglass Distinguished Scholars at American University where I leverage the knowledge, experience, and network of influential alumni, faculty, and staff to foster a collaborative community in which I am preparing for graduate/professional school, nurturing originality, and developing the specialized skills necessary for socially responsible leadership.
